Travel Radiology Technologist opportunity in Madison, WI! Join a respected acute care imaging team and provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray services across adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

  • Shift: Day shift, 10-hour schedule (07:30 - 18:00)
  • Weekly Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with a Saturday rotation every 5th–6th week
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,080 - $2,230

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist or acute care imaging experience
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS certification required through the American Heart Association
  • Active State of Wisconsin Radiographer license required
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred
  • Strong experience with Epic and diagnostic imaging workflows
  • Ability to work effectively with adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric patients
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of diagnostic X-ray exams across multiple patient populations
  • Operate radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers with accuracy and efficiency
  • Adapt imaging techniques to accommodate patient restrictions, pathology, and clinical needs
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and image-processing issues as needed
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain high imaging standards
  • Support safe, patient-centered care while following radiation safety and infection prevention practices
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver timely, high-quality diagnostic services
  • Contribute to a positive, professional imaging department environment
