Travel Radiology Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Location: Merrillville, IN 46410 (Northwest Indiana; easy access to Chicago)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Radiology Unit
• Shift: 8-hour evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Travel Rad Tech

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in acute care or hospital settings
• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Ability to work evening shifts and adapt quickly in acute care environments
• Experience with CT/MRI/X-ray/DEXA/vascular imaging preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is a plus

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, DEXA, and vascular studies
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards during procedures
• Accurately document and maintain patient records using EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in an acute care setting
• Follow departmental protocols, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards
