- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Peoria radiology jobs / Illinois radiologic technologist)
- Setting: Acute Care, Level 1 Trauma Center
- Contract Duration: 20 weeks (April 20, 2026 – September 7, 2026)
- Shift: 10 Hour Nights (night shift radiology)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (may vary for travelers)
- Dress Code: Per OSF Dress Code; scrubs provided when assigned in the OR
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy radiology setting, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center (emergency radiology experience preferred)
- Operating room (OR) experience required; must be able to work independently and provide radiology support during surgeries
- Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license or documentation of application initiation
- ARRT certification (Radiography)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Preferred experience with EPIC (charting), OEC C-arm, Carestream, and PACS
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiography, trauma imaging, and patient positioning
- Must be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced trauma environment
- Negative drug screen required (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients (radiography, trauma imaging)
- Operate department-specific equipment including OEC C-arm and Carestream imaging systems
- Provide radiology support during surgeries, trauma activations, and high-acuity cases
- Float across departments as needed, including OR and ED coverage
- Use EPIC for timely charting, documentation, and communication with the care team
- Follow department protocols, radiation safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
- Deliver reliable patient care with strong communication and teamwork in a Level 1 Trauma Center
