Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – ARRT | Seattle, Washington
Travel Radiologic Technologist needed in Seattle, WA, for a 13-week X-ray assignment offering $1,950–$2,100 weekly. Join a collaborative hospital imaging team and perform diagnostic, portable, emergency department, and surgical C-arm procedures. Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950–$2,100

- Assignment Type: 13-week travel radiology assignment

- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Hours: 11:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m.
- Weekend Coverage: No weekend coverage scheduled
- Call: Voluntary call availability is appreciated but not required
- Documentation Systems: Epic and PACS
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technologist
- Active Washington State radiologic technologist license in hand before the start of the assignment
- ARRT(R) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong diagnostic X-ray experience across adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric populations
- Experience performing portable imaging, emergency department exams, operating room procedures, and surgical C-arm cases
- Working knowledge of radiation safety, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and contrast media preparation or administration
- Ability to use PACS and radiology equipment, including Philips systems
- Travel experience is not required; first-time travel technologists are encouraged to apply
Travel X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Complete portable chest, abdomen, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and other general X-ray studies
- Support imaging needs in the emergency department, intensive care areas, operating room, and other inpatient settings
- Operate C-arm equipment during surgical procedures
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care for neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and cooperation
- Apply radiation protection and safety standards for patients, visitors, and staff
- Accurately document procedures and complete image management tasks using Epic and PACS
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, surgeons, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and transport staff
- Work independently while coordinating effectively with another technologist during later evening hours
