Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – 13-Week Contract in Seattle, WA

ARRT-certified X-ray technologists with C-arm experience can join our radiology team for a 13-week travel contract in Seattle, Washington. Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across inpatient, emergency, operating room, and portable settings while supporting diverse patient populations in this rewarding travel healthcare opportunity.

Travel Radiology Job Details

  • Assignment Type: 13-week travel radiologic technologist contract
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950–$2,100
  • Location: Seattle, Washington 98122
  • Start Date: October 19, 2026
  • End Date: January 18, 2027
  • Schedule: Four shifts per week
  • Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
  • Shift Hours: 11:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Weekend Coverage: No weekend coverage scheduled
  • Call: Voluntary call availability is appreciated but not required
  • Charting and Imaging Systems: Epic and PACS
  • Patient Population: Neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent radiologic technologist or X-ray technologist experience
  • Current ARRT(R) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Washington State radiologic technologist license in hand at the time of submission
  • Demonstrated proficiency with routine and specialized diagnostic X-ray procedures
  • Recent experience operating C-arms in the operating room and surgical settings
  • Experience with portable and bedside imaging, emergency department imaging, and trauma cases
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and contrast media preparation or administration
  • Ability to document accurately in Epic and work effectively with PACS
  • Flexibility to support nearby affiliated locations if operational needs require

Travel X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients across a broad range of ages and clinical conditions
  • Complete portable chest, abdomen, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and other bedside studies
  • Provide imaging support in the emergency department, inpatient units, intensive care areas, and operating room
  • Operate C-arm equipment safely and effectively during surgical procedures
  • Position patients appropriately, explain procedures, and promote comfort and safety throughout each exam
  • Review images for quality, positioning, and diagnostic value before completing the examination
  • Follow radiation protection standards and departmental protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, surgical teams, and other interdisciplinary partners
  • Maintain equipment readiness and contribute to an efficient, patient-centered imaging workflow
