Travel Physical Therapist (Travel PT) needed in New Albany, Indiana — 14-week home health rehab contract, guaranteed 40 hrs/week, competitive weekly pay.

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Physical Therapist / Travel PT)
- Duration: 14 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 31, 2026)
- Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
- On Call/Weekend: One weekend per month
- Coverage Area: Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott, and Washington Counties (southern Indiana)
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs
- Mileage: Reimbursed between visits (from first patient to last patient)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) license with no restrictions
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; home health or in-home therapy experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (DPT acceptable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) and OASIS documentation is highly desirable
- Strong documentation, time-management, and patient communication skills for home health settings
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality in-home rehabilitative care as a Home Health Physical Therapist
- Conduct and document start of care (SOC), resumption of care (ROC), and recertification visits
- Use HCHB and OASIS for accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
- Assess patient functional status, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary home health teams, case managers, and caregivers to optimize patient outcomes
- Travel within assigned counties to deliver timely, patient-centered home health services
- Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled and maintain caseload and visit timeliness
