Travel Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation Nursing Job in Coralville, Iowa
Join a patient-centered rehabilitation team in Coralville, Iowa, as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) helping patients regain strength, function, and confidence in an inpatient acute rehab setting. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
Job Requirements
- Active RN license or current state certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred in acute care, rehabilitation nursing, or long-term care
- Current BLS certification
- Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter certification for Iowa
- Basic computer skills and comfort using electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a dependable team player in a healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused nursing care to rehabilitation patients
- Support recovery plans for patients healing from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote progress toward rehab goals
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to support recovery and discharge planning
- Contribute to a positive, cooperative unit culture focused on quality patient care
