Provide in-home ventilator and pulmonary care across Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Bullhead City. RRT required.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Homecare / Home Health
- Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ (coverage includes Kingman & Bullhead City)
- Employment Type: Permanent, On-Site
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,280 - $1,440
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift: 8-hour days (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- On-call: Some on-call coverage for ventilator issues
- Travel: In-home visits across Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Bullhead City (mileage reimbursed at $0.50/mile)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience in respiratory care or home health
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to use a personal vehicle for patient visits (mileage reimbursed)
- DME (durable medical equipment) experience preferred
- Residence within ~15–30 miles of Lake Havasu City, AZ (86403) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support for patients on ventilators and oxygen therapy
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide pulmonary education to patients and caregivers
- Adjust and monitor ventilator settings per physician orders and patient needs
- Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment, including DME and ventilators, ensuring safe home use
- Document patient interactions and services accurately and timely
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to ventilator and respiratory emergencies
- Travel to patient homes across Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Bullhead City to deliver home health respiratory care
