We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920-$2,060
- Location: Wichita, Kansas

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Weekend Requirement: No weekends required
- Setting: Acute Care Case Management supporting step-down units

RN Case Manager Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care case management RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- BLS certification
- Experience with Meditech and Midas strongly preferred
- Prior hospital-based case management experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced acute care environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive case management assessments for acute care patients
- Coordinate discharge planning to support safe and timely transitions of care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, mid-level providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patients in step-down care areas including cardiac and medical populations
- Review patient progression and identify appropriate post-acute or home-based discharge needs
- Document care coordination activities accurately within Meditech and Midas systems
- Help ensure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining quality patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit priorities while maintaining a patient-centered approach
