Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or eligibility via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / ED nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for acute and critical care patients
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, stabilize, and monitor patients with a variety of acute and critical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up resources
