Job Requirements – Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (New Jersey) or compact state RN license accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to float between campuses as needed (float pool / cross-campus ER experience)
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
Responsibilities – ER Nurse / Travel RN Duties
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room (Emergency nursing)
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a variety of acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to ER protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Float to different campuses as assigned and adapt quickly to varying ER environments
