Required Qualifications – Emergency Room RN

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse experience; prior travel nurse or acute care ED experience preferred
  • Active Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume)
  • Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (all must be attached to submission and must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Strong triage, critical thinking, and emergency assessment skills for high-acuity patients

Primary Responsibilities – ER Registered Nurse

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department (ED) setting
  • Assess, triage, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
  • Perform emergency interventions, monitor critical patients, and assist with procedures per ED protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, advanced practice providers, lab and imaging—to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and follow facility policies and compliance standards
  • Demonstrate adaptability and strong clinical judgment in high-stress emergency situations
