Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state (Registered Nurse license)
- No minimum years of ICU or critical care RN experience required; all levels of experience welcome
- Strong clinical skills in critical care settings, including assessment and acute patient management
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
Preferred / Relevant Skills (Semantic Keywords)
- Ventilator management and respiratory support (mechanical ventilation)
- Hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasoactive drips
- Cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and post-op critical care
- IV/central line management, medication administration in ICU
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU as an ICU RN
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using critical care best practices
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, manage IVs and central lines, and operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, hemodynamic monitors)
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support during critical illness
- Maintain a safe, compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
