Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and complete full 13-week travel contract
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate maternity and newborn care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Perform fetal monitoring, assess maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and assist with obstetric procedures as indicated
- Support vaginal and operative deliveries, collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes
- Provide patient and family education on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and best practices
- Demonstrate competency in neonatal stabilization, postpartum assessments, and patient-centered labor support
