Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
- Recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong telemetry monitoring, cardiac monitoring, and acute care assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment
- Excellent communication, organization, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic care environment
