Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room / perioperative nursing experience (scrub or circulating RN)
- BLS certification required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage perioperative workflow
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures as a perioperative nurse or surgical RN
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operations as scrub or circulating RN
- Monitor patient status, respond to intraoperative changes, and manage emergencies as needed
- Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold patient safety standards throughout procedures
- Document perioperative patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Support a variety of specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
