• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 (Finger Lakes, New York)
• Position: RN Supervisor / Registered Nurse Supervisor (Night Shift)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – Travel RN
• Division: Nursing / Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
• Shift: Full Time Nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM); every other weekend and holiday availability required
• Hours per Week: 40 (8-hour nights)
• Contract Length: 14 weeks (April 7, 2026 – July 11, 2026)

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2000–$2100 per week (based on experience and qualifications)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing (BSN preferred)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
• CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care / skilled nursing
• Demonstrated supervisory or charge nurse experience across multiple units
• Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements and New York long-term care regulations
• Computer literacy and strong clinical documentation skills
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing unit operations and provide clinical supervision to nursing staff during night shifts
• Ensure quality resident care through coaching, teaching, and direct supervision
• Collaborate and communicate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers regarding unit issues and patient care
• Make administrative and clinical decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator during off-shifts/weekends
• Model and lead Healing Environment principles to ensure safety, dignity, respect, and resident well-being
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines; facilitate clinical management under pressure
• Maintain professional and courteous relationships with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, residents, and families
• Recognize and manage occupational exposure risks; bloodborne pathogen exposure is reasonably anticipated
