Travel Telemetry RN / PCU Registered Nurse – Day Shift in Middle Township, NJ
Join a 12-week Telemetry RN contract in Middle Township, NJ, providing progressive care nursing in a busy Level I trauma center. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070–$2,180

- Schedule: 36 hours per week; day shifts; every other weekend
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks

- Unit Expectations: Must be willing to float to comparable units as needed
- Time-Off Expectation: Time-off requests during holiday weeks cannot be accommodated
Telemetry RN and PCU Nurse Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a busy Level I trauma facility
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring, telemetry assessment, clinical judgment, and progressive care nursing skills
- Flexibility to float to comparable units and collaborate across interdisciplinary care teams
Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and progressive care patients during day shifts
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and patient education
- Use EPIC to maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate individualized patient care
- Safely care for patients across comparable units when floated according to staffing needs
- Support a high-acuity, fast-paced Level I trauma environment while maintaining excellent standards of patient safety and communication
