Telemetry Registered Nurse - Travel Assignment in Spokane, Washington
Travel to Spokane, Washington for an exciting Telemetry Registered Nurse opportunity in a fast-paced acute care setting. This 13-week travel RN job is ideal for a nurse with neuro telemetry experience who enjoys caring for complex neurological patients in a respected teaching hospital.

- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850-$1,950
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Float Requirement: May float between units to meet facility needs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission; compact license required if applicable
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Telemetry and neuro experience strongly preferred
- Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients and a variety of neurological diagnoses
- Comfort using the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience with Epic charting is required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to support a patient population that includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Flexibility to work weekends and float as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to neuro and neurosurgical patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
- Perform focused neuro assessments, including NIH Stroke Scale evaluations
- Care for patients with CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, craniotomy, and other neurological conditions
- Support pre- and post-operative neurosurgical patients with safe, compassionate care
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP therapies, chest tubes, and procedural sedation monitoring as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Adapt to unit needs while delivering dependable, team-oriented care
