Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a busy Level 1 trauma setting
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
- Float to like units as needed to support patient care operations
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
