Tele/PCU Registered Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070–$2,180
- Location: Middle Township, NJ 08210
- Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry
- Schedule: Night shifts, every other weekend
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 12-week Registered Nurse contract
- Start Date: October 21, 2026
- Holiday Time-Off: Time-off requests during holiday weeks cannot be accommodated
Telemetry and PCU Registered Nurse Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse experience
- Recent experience in a busy Level I trauma facility
- Current, active New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Previous EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Ability to float safely and effectively to comparable units as needed
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and progressive care patients during night shifts
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changing patient conditions, and promptly escalate clinical concerns
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
- Provide safe, effective patient care while floating to comparable units when assigned
