Urology Physician Requirements
- Board certification in Urology required
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Active New Jersey state medical license required and must be in hand
- At least 1 year of recent urology experience required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- A current NPDB self-query report, pulled within 30 days, is required at presentation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general urology care in a hospital-based, onsite setting
- Perform inpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cystoscopy, stent placement, ureteroscopy, clot evacuations, and urgent inpatient care
- Manage a broad range of inpatient urologic needs with efficiency and clinical confidence
- Collaborate with onsite support staff and advanced practice clinicians to support smooth patient flow and continuity of care
- Deliver high-quality care while responding to urgent procedural and clinical needs
